Roland Meerdter

Roland Meerdter is the founder and managing partner of Propinquity Advisors- a research and strategic consultancy focused on the investment management industry. Roland works with clients worldwide to develop and implement customized strategies. Through his guidance, clients reach greater distribution effectiveness, more robust product platforms and enhanced investment capabilities.

Previously, Roland was a Managing Director and global head of manager/fund research and due diligence for Deutsche Bank. Prior to this role, he was a senior research analyst with a multi-family office. Roland has reviewed, analyzed and interviewed thousands of managers around the globe. He has worked extensively in both the U.S. and Europe. He is an industry thought leader in a range of topics including manager research/selection methodology, convergence of alternative and traditional investment approaches and global distribution developments. He is a graduate (magna cum laude) of the University of Oregon.
