Gustavo Cano

Founder and CEO of Fund@mental. He is a financial professional with over 28 years of relevant experience in the Wealth Management industry. He has spent most of his professional life in Miami and has worked with both domestic and international clients in the United States. He began his professional career in 1996 when he was selected as part of a 16-member team for an executive program sponsored by BBVA in Spain. After completing the two-year program, he was transferred to BBVA Miami, where he managed discretionary portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and advised on investment strategy for BBVA's pension plans in Latin America (Colombia, Paraguay, and Peru). In 2002, he became CIO and Head of Private Banking for Banco Sabadell in the Americas, responsible for the investment area, leading the Discretionary Management team, as well as the Treasury unit. In 2009, he founded Sabadell Securities USA, Inc., a broker-dealer and Registered Investment Advisor, where he became President and CEO.
