After a challenging 2021, China has endured a wave of headwinds again in 2022; including ongoing fallout from its sector level regulatory crackdowns, continued stress among property developers, and most recently, city-wide lockdowns against the backdrop of the “Zero-Covid” policy.
Is China ready to hit the reset button in 2H 2022 with a major stimulus package focused on reflating the economy or should investors prepare themselves for a new, more cautious growth model emanating from China? Eastspring Investments Asia specialists Navin Hingorani, Ken Wong and Adam Matthews will examine how these results could affect the rest of Asia and emerging markets in general.
